John A. Cranton, MN, ARNP, earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington. He is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. John earned his RN in 1993. He has had extensive experience working in the Neurosurgery and Trauma ICUs at two Regional Trauma Centers in Virginia. He has worked closely with Dr. Cranton for many years in his clinic, where his responsibilities included patient evaluation, formulation of treatment plans, wound care, medication and supplementation counseling, administration of IV EDTA chelation therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in a Sechrist Monoplace Chamber. John is thoroughly competent to administer the treatment protocols pioneered by his father, Dr. Elmer Cranton.

Elmer M. Cranton, M.D. graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1964. He served as President of the American Academy for Advancement in Medicine, President of the American Holistic Medical Association, and President of the Smyth County Medical Society in Virginia. Dr. Cranton has been board certified in Family Practice. He served as Chief-of-Staff at a U.S. Public Health Service Hospital and for many years was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Advancement in Medicine and the Journal of Holistic Medicine. Dr. Cranton has authored numerous books and scientific articles in the field of chelation therapy, preventive medicine, nutrition, and anti-aging.
